Management Team

David Fearing, CEO CU Partner Link

Prior to joining CU Partner Link in 2014, Dave spent 17 years as the Chief Operations Officer of OCUL Services Corporation, the business subsidiary of the Ohio Credit Union League. Dave helped develop growth strategies and an effective sales culture through strong partner alignment. Prior to his time at the Ohio Credit Union League, Dave was the Chief Financial Officer for Corporate One FCU, where he established their ALM and investment strategies and risk management guidelines.

In 1984, Dave graduated with a degree from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio where he majored in in accounting. After graduation Dave earned his Certified Public Accounting license and worked with a public accounting firm specializing in consulting and auditing financial institutions.

Rob Thomas, VP Business Development

Rob brings more than 20 years of experience working in the financial services industry to deliver innovative solutions to business clients. Most recently, he worked for NOWaccount Network Corporation as Director of Business Development. Rob worked with credit unions across the US to integrate NOWaccount into their business services product line and develop go-to-market sales strategies. Prior to NOWaccount, Rob worked for TD Bank, a top 10 bank based in Toronto, with a major presence in the U.S. Rob worked in the Boston office and managed a small business deposit portfolio consisting of 550,000 business customers with more than $13 billion in deposits. There he implemented a number of enterprise-wide strategies to generate new small business relationships and create new sources of fee revenue, which exceeded company revenue targets.

Rob also has worked in senior leadership positions at Regions Financial Corp., BBVA/Compass, Synovus Financial Corp., and SouthTrust Bank. He started his banking career with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

Rob has received numerous awards throughout his banking career including several Greenwich Excellence Awards in Business Banking, BBVA/Compass Bank Marketing Excellence awards, and Card News “Best Card Marketing Award.” He also has been recognized in a variety of industry publications. In addition, Rob has been a featured speaker at the American Bankers Association Small Business Sales Management conferences and other financial services conferences. Rob was selected to serve on the distinguished Consumer Bankers Association Small Business Committee.

Rob received a B. S. in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama, where he was a scholarship athlete on the varsity golf team. In addition, he received his BAI Graduate School of Bank Financial Management from Vanderbilt University and completed the Emory University/Synovus Leadership Institute.
